Last wednesday, me and Simone went to the Amsterdam cat café! This cat café was recently opened, and it’s the first one in the Netherlands. Ever since I heard about it, I wanted to pay it a visit. I have always been a huge cat lover (I also have a cat of my own), so a visit to this café was a must for me! And it was so much fun! The café itself is decorated really nicely with cosy corners in retro style. And of course there is a whole bunch of fun stuff to do for the cats as well!
To get in, you have to pay a €3,50 fee. This fee is used to take care of the cats. And right now, you can only visit when you have a reservation, because they expect a lot of visitors. There are only 20 people allowed at the same time, such that it won’t get too busy for the cats. They also have some nice drinks, and you can order a simple lunch. I had bread with hummus, and it was great! Not pricey at all and really cosy! So, if you happen to be a cat lover, this place is highly recommended! Did you ever visit a cat café? Or are you planning to?
During our visiting hour, there was one cat that jumped on someone’s lap. His name is Horus and he picked Simone!
Of course, I also had to pet this sweet cuddle bug!
