Last weekend, I went to the Dutch island Texel with my mom for a short weekend trip. On saturday, Caro Emerald performed on the island, so we decided to plan a weekend trip around it. The weather wasn’t as good as we had hoped. But luckily, during the performance (which was outside), it was dry! And she was wonderful as ever! She was so full of energy and she really got to the crowd! I really love dressing up for Caro Emerald performances, but this time it was quite of a challenge. It was outside and very cold, with even a chance of rain! So, I went for a more simple concert outfit than usual. But I still do really like it! Of course, I was wearing a coat over it during the concert, but it’s also about the feeling I get from wearing an outfit like this, haha! And the peplum skirt peeked out from the bottom of my coat! The gloves really give it that final vintage touch I look for when putting together an outfit for one of Caro’s concerts. What do you think of this combo?
